Panic Sheet - What To Do If Something Goes Wrong

Second Life, like most new things, can be a bit unstable. We've found, however, that with a little bit of preparation we're able to keep everything running fairly smoothly. Don't worry, we have the situation under control.

If Second Life Crashes

Ignore it and keep going. Half the time your avatar is still there and nobody can tell the difference. If you were running your own slides, ask if you could have someone handle the slides for you - but don't worry about offering a lengthy explanation.

If Skype Disconnects

Just wait for a moment and we'll call you right back. You'll be tempted to go to your Second Life window and ask for help. Don't do it! :-) We'll be right with you.

In Case Of Griefer Attack

We're going to be very pro-active about trouble-makers, but if a prankster slips through and tries any hijinks please ignore them entirely. We'll clear them off.

If Your Computer Crashes

If your system goes down entirely, give Caleb a call at 1-905-938-8261 (write that down ahead of time) and let him know. We'll call you right back and have you speaking in less than a minute via telephone.
