First Look: Campus Screens + Pricing

Campus is ready to go! And with 12 months of upgrades and support, I'm not sure what more you might ask for (though I hope you'll tell me...)

Announcement: Clever Zebra Partners with Reaction Grid to Bring Campus to OpenSim

I've been a fan of what Kyle, Robin and Chris have been doing over at Reaction Grid with OpenSim for educators and enterprise for what seems like a long time now. When we decided that one of the big priorities for Campus was for it to be a true cross-platform solution they were the only people we wanted to work with.

I don't have a firm date yet, but you can count on seeing Campus in OpenSim within weeks thanks to our new partnership with Reaction Grid.

Campus Beta Applications Now Closed

If you're already talking to me about this then this doesn't apply to you. Campus beta applications are now closed. Thanks to everyone who responded. Sorry for those that didn't fit the criteria or otherwise missed this opportunity.

It looks like we'll be working closely with 4 or 5 excellent teams over the next year. It was a job to whittle a list of 30/40 emails down to so few but worth finding those perfect matches!

I'll list our beta partners later in the week.

Thanks again,

Call for Beta's - Campus, from Clever Zebra

I'm looking for a handful of beta testers for our new product, "Campus". Here's the brief description, and details of how to get on the list.

"Campus helps you build engaging 3D virtual communities for your school, non-profit, enterprise or government group. It runs on both the popular Second Life platform, and the Open Simulator project, with more platforms to follow."

Campus gets a logo, and a few more details...

Well you can hardly launch something as mind bogglingly awesome as Campus without a spiffy logo can you? You can find a scant few details on the official campus home page also. I'll be talking a little more to the folks on our email list tomorrow (you can sign up on the left) and blogging about it a little after.

New focus, new blog

With much thought on the recent changes in virtual worlds (Forterra saying adios through aquisition, Wonderland getting their funding cut etc) I've been thinking long and hard about the direction of CZ. We've done some very cool things for clients this last year, and we're still working on some of that stuff but I think a more product focused approach will suit the current climate better. It will also give us a chance to scale what we do a little more easily.
