Barry Joseph Of Global Kids To Speak At vBusiness Expo

Global Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to "transforming urban youth into successful students as well as global and community leaders", has had a long history of using cutting edge technology. Their Director of the Online Leadership Program, Barry Joseph, will be giving a talk at the vBusiness Expo entitled: "Doing Well By Doing Good: Supporting Nonprofits and Philanthropies in Virtual Worlds".

Barry Joseph holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.A. in American Studies from New York University. You can read his thoughts on how are children kept safe and empowered within virtual worlds and what they are learning at the Global Kids' Digital Media Initiative blog.

Through a discussion with Nick Wilson we hope to discover how Global Kids uses online tools, and what the unique challenges are for client relationships and brand management for government, museums and nonprofits.
